Childhood Vaccinations and Developement Screening

The National Childhood Immunisation Schedule (NCIS) lists childhood vaccinations recommended for protection against common vaccine-preventable diseases in Singapore. Developmental screenings conducted at specific ages are part of preventive care for all children, and aim to identify children at risk of developmental delay for early interventions.

At Pano Family Clinic, childhood vaccinations recommended under the NCIS and childhood developmental screenings are fully subsidised for eligible Singaporean children. In addition, certain childhood vaccinations not covered under the NCIS can be paid for using the Child Development Account (CDA) under the Baby Bonus scheme.

The following vaccines are recommended under the NCIS:

  • 5-in-1 (Diphteria, tetanus and acellular pertussis [DTaP], Inactivated poliovirus [IPV], Haemophilus Influenza type b [Hib])
  • 6-in-1 (Diphteria, tetanus and acellular pertussis [DTaP], Inactivated poliovirus [IPV], Haemophilus Influenza type b [Hib], Hepatitis B)
  • Pneumococcal conjugate (PCV13)
  • Measles, mumps and rubella (MMR)
  • Varicella (chicken pox)
  • Influenza
